We are seeking a Chief of Staff to join our executive team in London and help connect the dots in our fast-growing company. This high-profile role will require you to lead strategic initiatives, streamlining internal processes, and manage key programmes that drive productivity and growth. Drawing on your exceptional leadership skills, you will effectively communicate company objectives across all levels, ensuring the team stays on track to push boundaries of sports innovation.
Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in planning and executing business strategies, driving operational efficiencies, managing business operations, and fostering interdepartmental collaborations. Strong leadership, executive advisory and people management skills are a must for this role as you’ll be pivotal in guiding the team and contributing to Feldspar’s vision of transforming athletics.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support and Leadership:
- Act as a liaison between the Founder and other departments, ensuring seamless communications across the organisation.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the founder and executive team to develop and implement long-term operational strategies.
- Assist in setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track company performance.
Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring all departments are functioning effectively and in alignment with company goals.
- Streamline processes and workflows to optimise efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead the management of cross-functional projects and initiatives, from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and success.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams, operating as a direct manager for department heads.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Champion and cultivate a positive, inclusive, and ambitious team culture.
- Serve as a key communicator, ensuring that information flows effectively across the organisation while maintaining transparency with leadership.
Qualification
- Proven track record of leading, planning, and executing strategic initiatives, at an early-stage start-up or growth business.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning to execution and monitoring.
- Strong leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and fostering a positive, results-driven work culture.
- Influential communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of managing upward and downward effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with resilience to handle change and uncertainty.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive mindset to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
Additional Considerations
- Preference for a candidate with experience in sports, technology or similar industries (particularly hardware/software-driven businesses)
- A passion for data-driven businesses, particularly in sports or live events, is a strong plus.
- Background in business administration, management consulting, or similar field is an advantage

We are a small team we come to the office in Canary Wharf 4 days a week!
