About the Role

We’re seeking a Lead Solution Architect to design and implement a scalable, high-performance architecture. You will play a key role in defining the technical strategy, ensuring efficient data processing, storage, and analytics capabilities. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and data science teams to build a resilient, cloud-native ecosystem that powers real-time and batch analytics.

This is a 3-6 months contract.

Key Responsibilities

Architect & Develop a scalable, resilient platform leveraging microservices and cloud-native technologies

Prototype & Validate new and emerging technologies to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Optimize Data Processing for large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.

Implement Best Practices for distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and API design.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally with product, DevOps, and data teams to refine requirements and drive technical excellence.

Ensure Reliability & Security by designing high-availability, fault-tolerant, and secure systems.

Lead by Example in coding standards, CI/CD implementation, and system monitoring.

Document & Mentor by maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and fostering a culture of learning within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

Extensive experience in solution architecture and engineering, with recent leadership roles in a high-growth startup or scaleup.

Proven expertise in designing and building scalable architectures.

Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including cloud-native services, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation etc.), and serverless architectures.

Strong experience with distributed data processing frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Flink, or similar).

Proficiency in backend development using Java, Go, Python, or Scala, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering culture.

Nice to Have

Experience with machine learning pipelines or AI-driven applications.

Knowledge of data lake and data warehousing solutions

Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, or service mesh architectures.
