Delivery Project Manager
From signed deal to live venue — you own it. Deliver Feldspar's intelligent sports surfaces at elite venues across the UK and internationally. First-of-kind installs, single point of accountability.
Position Overview
Feldspar installs intelligent athletics surfaces and force-sensing platforms at elite sport venues. Our first installations are going live in the UK and internationally, with a growing pipeline behind an active business development programme led by senior figures from the Olympic movement.
This role is the single owner of the journey from signed agreement to live venue: the person our leadership and commercial team hand a deal to with confidence that it will be delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Venue Deployment Ownership
Own the deployment lifecycle for each installation: site readiness (access, power, storage, inductions and venue liaison), freight and customs, installation crew and schedule, commissioning and handover sign-off, and snag management through to acceptance. Build the repeatable deployment playbook so each installation is faster and cheaper than the last.
International Deployments
Own mobilisation planning for international installations, including freight, customs and duties responsibility, local labour models, site readiness with the customer, and the delivery risk register against contractual dates.
Dependency and Supplier Coordination
Maintain the dependency and free-issue registers for each deployment so that supplier obligations, Feldspar obligations and venue obligations are tracked, dated and visible. Coordinate the supporting cast per deployment: engineering support, local labour, venue contractors, insurance evidence, and event logistics where they intersect with installations.
Stakeholder and Handover Management
Serve as the delivery counterpart to the business development team, translating commitments made in agreements into deliverable plans, managing customer expectations through delivery, and running structured handovers into ongoing operations and support.
Key Performance Indicators
Installations delivered to their contractual dates through planned, documented mobilisations
Deployment playbook established and improving measurably across successive installations
Site readiness, dependency and free-issue registers maintained and current for every live deployment
Handover and acceptance sign-off completed for each venue with no open safety or commissioning items
Required Qualifications & Experience
Proven delivery project management of high-value instrumented hardware installed at customer sites as a fixed solution: sports technology, AV or staging, technical infrastructure, fit-out, or comparable electro-mechanical installs
International logistics experience, including freight forwarding, customs and duties, and working with local labour or subcontractors
Strong site awareness: access, inductions, RAMS, and working alongside venue operations
Organised and calm under moving dates; comfortable being the single point of accountability
Desirable: experience in elite sport, venues or events; experience of first-of-kind product deployments
Terms
Permanent role, competitive salary. Early start preferred: the successful candidate will join during our first venue installations and take ownership of upcoming deployments.
